BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Myrna Socol has worked nationally and internationally with clients to
coach executives, facilitate meetings, build teams, organize and implement
training programs, and make presentations.
Myrna is a “quick-study” whose proactive, results-oriented approach to
coaching enables executives to develop the competencies and tools they
need for growth. As human resources director for a 60-branch retail
network, she worked with her own staff, corporate executives, and branch
managers. Myrna is sensitive to workplace issues and management styles and
is able to create supportive coaching relationships. Utilizing real-world
strategies, objective style assessments, and multiple intelligence
awareness, she has consistently helped executives achieve new levels of
competency and success.
Myrna has been a speaker at many organizations, including the Cable
Television Advertising and Marketing Convention, International Customer
Service Association, the National Society for Fund Raising Executives of
Greater New York, and the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton
Business School.
Myrna was an adjunct professor at the New School of Social Research. Her
previous experience includes being the director of training and
development and of human resources for the Bowery Savings Bank and H. F.
Ahmanson, Inc., and the director of training and development for Sheldon
Satin Associates, a management consulting firm in the communications
industry. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in business
education from City College of New York and Hunter College. She is listed
in Who’s Who in American Women-18th Edition and The World Who’s Who in
Women-12th Edition.
